Preoperative preparation for labiaplasty, perineoplasty & vaginoplasty

  • No smoking for 3-4 weeks prior to and 3-4 weeks after surgery

  • No cardioaspirin for two weeks   prior to surgery.  Paracetamol is OK.

  • You will need home rest and appropriate help around the house for 3-7 days after surgery

  • Prior to surgery, wash the entire genital area and trim pubic hair short. (Please use scissors or an electric razor. DO NOT shave or wax pubic hair 1 week prior to surgery)

  • Wear loose fitting/comfortable dark clothes at the day of surgery. (No  jewelry please)

  • For outpatient Vaginoplasty/Perineoplasty only – start taking prescribed antibiotics two days before the procedure  and continue the course up until two days after.

  • If you have a history of recurrent Herpes, make sure to inform your doctor beforehand.

Excessive dilated entrance of vagina usually is a result of  natural birth, episiotomy and perineotomy. But in some cases it can also occur in women with no history of vaginal delivery and/or  perineal  incisions and suturing.

Patients with wide vaginal entrance complain of worsening of sexual life, perineal cosmetic defects, increased vaginal discharge that irritates the perineal area.

Special sutures ( Vaginal Narrower threads) are used to repair cosmetic and functional defects of perineum. The lifting effect on the tissues is facilitated by small cogs on the thread.

G-Spot is an anatomic structure located on the anterior wall of vagina, approximately 16mm higher  from the upper part of the urethral meatus, and it creats a 35° angle with the lateral border of the urethra.  G-Spot is  a well-delineated sac (8.1mm x 1.5mm – 3.6mm x 0.4mm) with  fibroconnective and erectile tissue walls.

G-spot size augmentation (commonly known as G-Shot) leads to increased friction during sex, which results deeper and longer sexual satisfaction.

Labiaplasty  is a surgical reconstruction (reduction or augmentation) of the size of the labia. Labiaplasty  involves reconstruction after obstetric injury  or, more rarely, augmentation via injection of bulking agents or fat transfer in cases of congenital conditions. Several techniques have been described to effect cosmetic alteration of the labia minora. Our preferred method for the matter is  modified V-wedge.

Clitoral hood reduction (CHR) or clitoral unhooding is a procedure which reduces the size  and area of the prepuce (clitoral hood). It is aimed to improve the sexual life. CHR is most often performed together with labiaplasty. Hood reduction  commonly continues the labial excision line. It can also be separate, if the anatomic area of hood hypertrophy does not connect  directly with the area of labial reduction. In rare cases  hood size reductions are performed without labial reduction.

Vaginal rejuvenation is the repair the vaginal canal and opening of the vagina, which aims to enhance the sexual function. Vaginal relaxation occurring  after vaginal delivery is not a new concept. Various pathophysiologic studies have  demonstarate  marked changes  to levator muscles, nerves and pelvic support after vaginal delivery. The amount of damage during vaginal delivery  correlates with sexual function.  At six months postpartum, women with an intact perineum  are less likely to experience sexual dysfunction than those with perineal lacerations.
